The Villa and facilities
The villa is a 3 bedroom villa with a lounge, dining room, kitchen and a separate en-suite bedroom annex. It comfortably sleeps 5 people, with the ability to sleep 6 with a ‘put-u-up’ bed and mattress if required. The villa has 3 separate outside seating areas with varying degrees of shade with dining area and comfortable sofa chilling area. The villa is gated and self-contained with parking for up to 3 cars.
There is a private pool and external shower for exclusive use of the villa. The pool is not heated but is fully filtered. The pool is contained by railings and a lockable gate for child safety.
There is an outside charcoal barbecue and a gas barbeque available for use and has about three quarters of an acre of landscaped and beautiful gardens full of colourful plants and exotic fruit trees (see Villa gardens for more details and photos). The villa has excellent Wi-Fi and 4G coverage in most areas.
The villa is located approximately 5kms (12 minute drive) from Torrent, the nearest big town which has all major supermarkets, shops, banks, chemists and the Valencian Metro. The Metro provides easy access to all areas of Valencia including all of the tourist areas and the airport. Valencia airport is a 20 minute drive to the villa. Central Valencia and the old town is a 25 minute drive. The beautiful Valencian beaches are 25 minutes from the villa.
The villa is located on the side of a valley with stunning views cross to the Mountains to the west of Valencia. It is off of a small rural road and is in a very quiet position. One of the villas best features is its location … it is in a rural location with easy access to all amenities with outstanding views. With the villa being rural it is surrounded by farms, orange groves, small holdings and a few other villas. Associated animal noise including dogs, goats, chickens and peacocks can be heard from the villa.
The nearest small town is Montserrat about 10 minute drive away. Again it has two major supermarkets and other shops with a large market twice a week.
There are two bars and one restaurant within walking distance of the villa, one bar also having basic horse riding available and a small children’s farm. The bars are very authentically Spanish and frequented by the local Spanish residents and workmen predominently. They are not plush but do cater tasty food and good cold drinks all day, most days.

A fully equipped and comfortable lounge with 1 x 3 seater and 1 x 2 seater leather sofas, a 55” 4K ultra HD TV with Freesat English TV, Netflix and YouTube. The lounge has a wood-burner should you be there during the month with chilly evenings (mainly out of season). The lounge has full air conditioning.

Extendable dining table with 6 comfortable chairs and a ceiling light/fan combi.

There is also an outside toilet behind the garage which also has a brand new washing machine and an external washing line.

The villa has an excellent hot water system, but the water pressure is quite low due to its position in the mountains.
There is a ‘meet and greet’ service that will welcome you to the villa, handover the keys and introduce you to the villa and its facilities.
All renters will receive an online welcome pack prior to each rental period and a pack of essentials upon arrival.
This really is a beautiful and well-equipped villa. If you are looking for a holiday destination with a rural, peaceful setting but within easy and fast access to tourist sites and beaches then the villa is ideal for you. If you are looking for an authentic Spanish experience, staying amongst Spanish people and the countryside then this is the place for you. If you prefer bustling tourist resorts with all amenities, entertainment, beach and shopping with a short walking distance - then this isn't the place for you.
Due to the rural and remote position set amongst the mountains it is strongly advised that anyone renting the villa also has a car available to them as the nearest shops and town is about 10-15 minutes away. Hire cars are easily obtained from Valencia airport. Valencia has a very fast road network across the whole City comprising of various motorways and dual carriageways which means that everything is usually only 20 minutes away !
